Realizations

Sometimes it takes a hard blow to realize how much you care for a person. Sometimes it takes a chain or series of events to realize how much you really do need them in your life. I've had this experience multiple times throughout the past couple of years. I am a lover, not a hater. But I despise the people in this world who think they need to ruin other people's lives, who feel the need to put down others in order for themselves to feel better, feel powerful. We have absolutely NO RIGHT to treat other human beings in that way. I wish the world could just learn to accept and love each other. If we could all get along, shining with love inside and out, this world would be a better place.

I wrote this song. It's called "Hold On" and I wrote it for a very special, very important person in my life, whom I love with all my heart. Without him/her I wouldn't be able to survive. Literally. This person gave me life. Taught me all that I know, watched me grow, and supports me in all my hopes and dreams. I need this person to know how much they are loved, by SOO many, how many people would stand up for them, and fight with them in any battle. I know I would. And so I wrote this song. It's about holding on to life, and pushing through those hard times.

I know that I wrote this for a specific person in my life, but I hope that many will be able to relate in some way. Take the time to realize who the people are in your life that mean the world. And let them know how much you care. We all are going to have hard times, that may seem impossible to push through. And you may just feel like it'll all be settled and everything would be better, if you were no longer alive. PLEASE don't let this be the answer to your problems. Know that you are loved, and looked up to. Push through those hard times. Keep your head held high, don't let it bring you down. "Sometimes life may bring you down, but only through struggle does one grow stronger." Keep believing, and Hold On.
